Mary Seacole House
Mary Seacole House (MSH) is a multicultural Mental Health Resource service for adults primarily from the Black Minority Ethnic communities in Liverpool. MSH is a registered charity since 1991. Mary Seacole House employs a committed team of staff and volunteers who aim to increase the confidence and life opportunities of the people from BME Communities.
The organisation provides the following services:
- Day Service for adults with severe and enduring/ mild and moderate mental health issues.
- Floating Support Service for adults with mental health issues providing outreach support to enable them to maintain and sustain their tenancies and live independently within the community.
- Carer’s Support Service for anyone over 18 who identifies themselves as a carer. We provide emotional and practical support, educational and health activities.
- Advocacy service for adults with mental health issues. We provide a community based formal advocacy support and Peer Advocacy Training.
